Pelicans in California

While visiting Channel Islands NP in California last year, we encountered thousands of pelicans. Below are photos of a few of them:

Bear Crossing

This photo is not of the best quality as I shot it while driving, but I still decided to post it as I find the "bear crossing" sign with a little baby bear following its mamma super-adorable. Also, having "Family comes first" billboard in the background ads even more charm to the whole picture:

Law-enforcing Crow

During our honeymoon roadtrip through parks of the South-West, we met the law-abiding and enforcing crow that was making sure nobody goes under the rim of one of the viewpoints in Petrified Forest NP:

Deer Crossing

There are plenty of "Deer Crossing" signs on the road leading to Grand Canyon, but we did not encounter any "real" dears there:

Tarantula in Sunol Wilderness, California

A month ago, while hiking in one of the parks (Sunol Wilderness) in California, I almost stepped on this tarantula!:
