While enjoying the sunset at the beach in Swakopmund, Namibia, we saw a seal basking in the last rays of sun:

Namibian Rock Agama
I've been always fascinated by the beautiful patterns and colors that lizards have. Here is one of my favorite lizards - Namibian Rock Agama:
Here is a female:
And here is a male (like in the case of birds, male is more colorful than female):

Vulture in the Sky
Masai Mara NP is a fantastic place to observe nature in action. Not only you can see there many exotic animals, but you can also observe their daily activities.
We found vultures to be an invaluable help in finding fresh dead corpses of other animals. Since they are high-fliers, we could see them from miles away and could navigate our car in their direction:

Red Starfish
Part of our holidays in Kenya we spent at the coast south of Mombasa. The beach there was wonderful, and the ocean even better. It was so full of animals that you could simply go for a walk in the water and pick them with your bare hands:

Spotted Frog in Uganda
In Uganda, close to the border with Rwanda and Congo, we met this little cute frog that was so afraid of us that was not even moving when I was touching it:

Pelicans in California
While visiting Channel Islands NP in California last year, we encountered thousands of pelicans. Below are photos of a few of them:

Lion Tracks
At the beach in Namibia we noticed these fresh lion tracks:
As we were walking there a lot, we were happy that we did not encounter any lions...

Marabou Stork
Marabou Stork is one of the biggest birds in the world, second in size only to Condor. They inhabit Kenya and can be easily spotted even in the big cities:

During our recent trip to Channel Islands NP in California, we met a group of sealions resting on a buoy:

Crazy Bird and a Mirror
Here is a movie that we took in Namibia of a crazy bird that spent over 2 hours relentlessly attacking our car's side mirror:

Ostrich in Masai Mara
Ostriches are super-fast, but not very smart. Most of the ones that we met instead of running away from us were running in the same direction in which we were moving...

Curious Zebra in Masai Mara
Zebras are not as shy as giraffes, but most of them like to keep their distance from people. This zebra was a bit different in this respect, as it seemed to enjoy our company and was curiously checking us out:

Orange Animals
I'm not sure what this animal is. I think it might be a subspecies of a sea cucumber. I saw it in Kenya, on the beach near Mombasa:

Bear Crossing
This photo is not of the best quality as I shot it while driving, but I still decided to post it as I find the "bear crossing" sign with a little baby bear following its mamma super-adorable. Also, having "Family comes first" billboard in the background ads even more charm to the whole picture:

Law-enforcing Crow
During our honeymoon roadtrip through parks of the South-West, we met the law-abiding and enforcing crow that was making sure nobody goes under the rim of one of the viewpoints in Petrified Forest NP:

Sechselaeuten
Sechselaeuten is a traditional spring holiday celebrated in Zurich, Switzerland, since the early 20th century. A few years ago I had an opportunity to witness a parade of the 26 guilds in their historic dress costumes that is part of Sechselaeuten celebration. It was really cool to see camels on the streets of Zurich!

Zebras in Etosha NP, Namibia
Zebras are very photogenic, so I decided to post some more pictures of them (this time in color) that I took in Etosha NP in Namibia:

Not surprisingly, cow carriages are pretty common in India and they share the road with motorized vehicles:

Horses in Hampi, India
We already saw cows, goats and monkeys playing in the Hampi ruins, so we were not surprised to also see horses there:
